Astral Horror and Metaphysics

Astral horror movies will soon be sprouting up like bean sprouts. Insidious took a past concept to astral project astral horror into the forefront. What past astral horror movies employ metaphysics?

A Nightmare on Elm Street is an astral horror movie that portrays the dream world beyond reality, thus, accurately depicting metaphysics. Shocker is another astral horror movie that astral projects a serial killer through the various astral worlds through energy sources.  Silent Hill and Constantine represent astral horror movies about metaphysics.

Investigating further into astral horror movies, there are very few that resemble Insidious. Astral projection is rarely mentioned in Hollywood movies. Combining astral horror movies along with metaphysics can make for an entertaining movie experience, especially with 3D creating an an out of this world event.

Imagine watching astral beings pressing up against your eyelids. What about astral entities jumping out of the movie screen? Constantine conveyed the evil astral world with astral demons populating an post-apocalyptic Los Angeles.

Reeves's character astral projects into the astral world to investigate whether a young girl committed suicide. The astral demons are almost similar to the astral beings that populate the astral world in Insidious. These astral horror movies latch onto the metaphysics world.

We can suggest that The Sixth Sense and Stir of Echoes are astral horror movies about metaphysics. Metaphysics confront the world beyond physical belief. The astral entities call out to the children to help communicate their murders to family members.

Astral horror and metaphysics are tough acts to follow in the horror world. One has to challenge astral characters through their use of evil acts such as possession, rituals, and astral jumping into various human bodies to occupy their mind. Thanks for reading.
