ReplyDeleteIt appears the human figures are astral entities that are spiritual guides. These human figures seem to be popular in accounts when ancient astral travelers were projecting.
If you astral project again, pay attention to their message. If possible, try to communicate with them to ask what they want to convey to you.
In a film sense, the human figures are like angels/aliens in the Knowing movie.
Nevertheless, the human figures are like spiritual beings in the astral plane that are communicating to you about something.

I was looking at them from the balcony of my house after I passed through the glass door. When they turned to look at me, I freaked as I did not know what they were, then I was kind of like being dragged back to my body before I woke up. It was my first OBE.
ReplyDeleteI haven't got a chance to astral travel again after that since I don't know how to do astral traveling at will. So I have to wait for the next opportunity to come to me.
As long as you don't show any fear, the astral beings are unable to harm you. Astral travel experts say it is common to experience fear during the first OBE trial run.
ReplyDeleteThe humans you speak up seem like spiritual guides. The white light outlining the body and the colored light coming from their heart convey a spiritual sense.
Next time you have an opportunity to induce an OBE, tell yourself that you want to learn more about these astral beings and that they can't harm you in any way.
The fearful moment may have forced your silver cord to lure you back to your physical body.

ReplyDeleteHas only happened twice, when I've astral projected: I project into the future, about 4 to 6 months, seemingly feeling like a lucid dream. I'm only going to talk about one, cause the other one scary the crap out of what I might be capable of...
ReplyDelete-I am viewing a classroom where I see a hot rod painted on the right wall... As lucid as I am, I see a person now in front of me sitting in a chair facing that particular wall. I think it would be funny to pock the person! I feel an overwhelming excitement and filled with giggles. I then pock, a lady screams, and then I'm not there anymore.
4-6 months later, I'm at my new job where the office has been temporally moved to a classroom, where a hot rod has been painted on the right wall (auto motive training school- two weeks in new position). Sitting, my co-workers and I suddenly hear the loudest scream from the opposite side of the room. It is my new supervise in shock as she exclaims she has thought someone has pocked her right in the back, but no one is there... I then get my flash backs, and my eyes start to water, and my heart starts pounding...
...We can change the future, in the future, while remaining in the present.
Wow! Intense astral projection experience. You remember it so vividly. Changing the future in the future while in the present is an interesting process.

I haven't had a successful projection since then. I think I am too tired most of the time (not enough sleep). I had a close one few days ago, I got up and tried to pass through my room door then I got snapped back into my body and could not leave my body after that. But when I was in my body, in sleep paralysis state, I could hear my wife talking to my mother-in-law and could see a lot of shadowy legs running around me from the corner of my vision. The thing is I knew my wife was sleeping (I confirmed later when I woke up around 6AM) and my mother-in-law would not be at my house in the middle of the night. I don't know how to project on purpose, so I only get to do it when it happens to me in my sleep.
ReplyDeleteI did try teleportation in a semi-lucid dream last Saturday and it worked. I just remembered to try teleportation within the dream, but I was not aware I was dreaming.
Good to hear from you. Have you tried to make a tape with your voice or that of another ? I heard that may work to help you astral project and keep you focused while in the lucid state. Your exhaustion might be influencing your ability to astral project on command. You do have good mental control. Have you attempted remote viewing? Your teleporation abilities are rather interesting.I will look more into your near astral projection experience and then returning back to the body. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteCheck out the Astral Light. According to Webster (2009, 1998), "Astral Light is the area on the astral plane where the Akashic records are kept. It gains its name from the high energy vibrations created by melding the past, present, and future" (p. 214) You seem to have control of the future while in the present. The Akashic Records are known to contain the history of all humankind, which are stored in the astral plane. Let me know how it goes. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteHave you tried teleportation prior to your Saturday experience? There is recorded history of a Manila soldier in the 16th century that somehow induced teleportation to Mexico City (Webster, 1998:2009). In your past encounter with the human beings, try sprinkling some salt and water around your body or in the direction you plan to travel (Webster, 1998:2009). This should protect your body while you are astral projecting. I suppose when you are tired, astral projection is an unstable act. My friend mentioned he used to astral project a decade back. He noted that you must have a strong mind to astral project.

ReplyDeleteAlso, what is "remote viewing"? I read from somewhere that if you have lucid dream, you close your eyes and will yourself to where you sleep then you could see your body sleeping. Somehow I only remember to will myself around within the dream(instead of out of the dream into astral realm) to take shortcuts instead of having to run a long way. I was not fully aware in that lucid dream.
Hearing a voice of another or yourself talk to you while in your astral state will relax you so you don't develop any fear. It's like security or safety. You mentioned you were snapped back to your body. That demonstrates you can only astral project when the time is right and not do it on command. Remote viewing is when the consciousness leaves the body to travel to another place. The mind can visit another location to record events. For example, your consciousness leaves to go to New York City. You can record the events like a psychic. Then, you can report on what you see as it is taking place. ReplyDeleteI had another short session of traveling last night. It was quite uncontrollable. When I tried to get off my body, I think my astral head got stuck to my physical head. I was flailing and struggling a bit and managed to get off. When I got off I ended up sitting on the floor (must be quite a struggle). Then I looked at the ceiling and tried to will myself to float to the ceiling but that did not work, so I was thinking of going outside to try flying and I suddenly shot through the wall to the outside at a very high speed that I could not see anything, but it was just for a while. When I stopped, I was hovering above a tall building I have never seen before. The building has a lot of steel beams structure on the outside. Well, hard for me to describe it, but anyhow I did not know where I was and what building was that as I never seen it before. When I thought of hovering higher to get the whole view of the building, I just shot up in a very high speed until the building almost disappeared into a small dot, then I stopped. I thought of going back to the building and shot down again at very high speed towards the building and the ground, but just before I hit the ground I slowed down automatically and touched down gently on the ground (It was all quite out of my control). On the ground I was looking around if I could meet any light glowing people, but nobody was there and it was quite dark, much like at dusk right before it goes completely dark. I could barely make out a parked car near me, then a feeling of laziness suddenly hit me. It made me feel like I want to stop traveling and rest(but I do want to explore more, just got overwhelmed by that laziness), then my vision started to fade and I noticed a red glow coming towards me. I told me self not to freak and let the glow come near and eventually hit me. I felt nothing when it hit me, just that everything was just dark after that. After a while when I started to see the square tunnel do I realized I was staring at the back of my eye lids, so I just opened my eyes...I was awake.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I feel that the whole event took place for a very short time, maybe a minute only. WHen I woke up it was around 1:44AM.
I definitely can't do remote viewing.
P/S: Since I was a kid, I could see this square tunnel if I close my eyes for a while. If I keep staring into the tunnel, I will notice sometimes I am like moving into the tunnel and sometimes out. I never know what that means as when I asked my mom when I was a kid, she just said I talked nonsense.
Your short experience is quite intense. You seem much more focused to astral travel now. The astral head and the physical head episode is rather interesting. You probably have the ability to travel further beyond the real world and into space.

In dream interpretation, the tunnel is referred to as two perspectives of changing the mind possibly through transformation. To do that, you have to travel through the tunnel to exit out the other side. I think you have shown your ability to advance in astral projection. You've advanced in short time. I know a lot about decoding dreams. You're more in a lucid dreaming state in your astral travel experiences. Keep me updated. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteI had tried to follow the tunnel before, but it is like never ending. I was also not dreaming when I saw the tunnel/wormhole. I just have to close my eyes and calm down, I usually see flashes of purple/indigi then there will be a lot of tiny red dots floating around and the tunnel. They could all appear at the same time. Wierd thing is the tunnel/wormhole is square instead of circle.

ReplyDeleteSure. Your welcome. Thanks for sharing your experiences. The transformation is supposed to be good. According to Jenni Kosarin (2009), in going through the tunnel during the dream state "you will enter a new state of mind"(p. 265).
ReplyDeleteIn your are not dreaming, then the tunnel represents some sort of portal. You will find out once you pass through, even if you somehow feel that it is a never ending path that leads down a corridor. It is a process that will take time to determine where it eventually leads you. I don't see any harm with traveling down this tunnel/worm hole.
Have you ever experienced an event while younger involving a tunnel? Something you may have blocked out? You mentioned to your mom that you have seen this tunnel as a kid. Was there a moment you can remember dreaming about the tunnel?
Tunnel usually lead to the light. It is like a moment of revelation. If you can, follow down this tunnel. Once you reach the light, don't go any further. Keep close to the tunnel exit. Don't go with any that wants to lead you somewhere beyond the tunnel. If you see this image while closing your eyes, you might have some sort of psychic abilities. The tunnel has a meaning.
It is something it will take time to figure out. You will eventually learn what the tunnel conveys.
You advanced in astral projection since you have no fear. You allowed your astral body to wonder without waking up after it connected your your physical head. You told yourself not to be afraid of the light. You have more control in the astral plane. In your first experience, you let the human figures frighten you. I sense you will encounter these figures again.
You may have some sort of psychic abilities. Do you sense things beyond physical - i.e. metaphysical? Have any visions? Something to consider. We may be able to pinpoint it through additional experiences. Your memory of the astral projection is vivid. It's more than just lucid dreaming and or OBE.
I will look into the tunnel symbolism in the waking state. Try to astral project again. This time do it voluntarily. Wonder the astral world. Look for the human figures. Ask them what they want to tell you. Tell yourself before astral projecting that you want to know what these figures want to communicate. Make it a goal to find them. Don't be afraid.

I never experienced anything strong about tunnel in my life. I also don't remember dreaming about tunnel.
ReplyDeleteSOmetimes I do get a hunch like something is going to happen. For example when I was driving one day, I had a hunch that police might be around, so I keep within speed limit and saw the police with speed detector later. The hunch is not always true so it could just be coincidence. Sometimes when I am looking for someone in a crowd and have no idea where to start looking, if I close my eyes and calm down my mind then start to feel for that person, I could sometimes get a hunch of which direction to look and eventually found that person by walking the direction that hunch pointed. Again, it is not accurate all the time and could be coincidence.
You probably have psychic abilities to sense danger or to gravitate toward another person. I don't think these are random events. Psychics can sense people and events.

Very informational, but I don't understand all of its contents. Could the light glowing beings I saw be Personal Trainer? I don't have lucid dreams all the time, does this means I am alternating between level 3 and level 4? I don't even know what level of astral plane I was in when I had by previous two OBE. I do remember last time when I was more selfish and had sleep paralysis, I could not move and could see dark figures trying to scare me. I was not really scared by them, but more overwhelmed by the fact that I could not move, so I willed myself to wake. It was my wife that pointed out to me how selfish I was and I have been trying to change ever since. I also remember another time in 2008 when I spent the weekend at my sister's place, I was kind of woke up into sleep paralysis by cat meowing. WHen I was in sleep paralysis state, I saw a huge cat jumped in from the window and bit my shoulder,though I felt no pain, the desperation to shoo the cat away woke me up and I my physical body was doing the exact shooing movement when I woke up. Wierd thing was at the point I woke up shooing the cat, I also sat up and saw the cat's tail disappearing down the end of the bed. I turned on the light and searched the room but found no cat. I checked the window and the window was closed.
ReplyDeleteI had been having sleep paralysis since my teens, but never knew I was one step away from OBE. I got curious about OBE after watching the movie "Insidious", then looked up the internet more on OBE and found that sleep paralysis is the precursor of OBE. That was how I had my very first OBE and saw the glowing beings, I just got up when I had sleep paralysis knowing I could do OBE.

The subplanes are deep layers of the astral plane. Essentially, you will apply your astral projection techniques to enter these subplanes in the near future. Some of these subplanes apply to your mental state of being.
ReplyDeleteI believe in your sleep paralysis episodes because I also had the same experience three times in the past. I rented out a rent from 2001-2004. On two occasions there, I attempted to wake up since I felt something like a cat gnawing at my hand and pulling my left arm downward. It felt as if there was a spirit or something in the room. I tried to yell for help. No words came out. I couldn't move. It felt as if someone was sitting on my chest. I thought I was having a stroke or I would die. The fear built up until I finally awoke.
Apparently, these encounters are consistent with sleep paralysis. In the three times I experienced the event, I would have the feeling that I could not move, the cat gnawing on my hand effect, tugging arm, sitting pressure on my chest, fear, and no words came out. Standford researchers claimed these are hallucinations (hypogogic hallucinations) that have occurred for centuries. They claim they are perfectly safe.
The combination of the sleep paralysis and the hypogogic hallucinations create the feeling that you have another entity crushing your chest. I remember telling a few film friends in college about this experience in 2006. I never knew what to make of it until you mentioned it today. I assumed there was some kind of evil energy in the old home. One time I had to retrieve a Bible after awaking from an evil dream in the same manner.
An old woman used to own the home. When living there Then, I could not take the next step to actually move further into an OBE. I actually never knew about the process, thinking it was mostly movie magic. However, I now have a strong mind to handle any predetermined events.

A Nightmare on Elm Street also used the OBE concept to induce a dream state. In the first astral horror film, Nancy moved about the dream world where she could see Johnny's Depp's character and her physical form in the room. An OBE is almost identical to astral projection. Both processes require one to leave their physical body.
Since you experienced sleep paralysis, then I believe you can go further beyond in the astral plane to enter the subplanes. You might be able to enter the subplanes that many are too afraid to think about. These subplanes represent the foundation to the astral plane. They are much more advanced than the astral light and the Akashic Records.
The cat is a hallucination your mind creates in light of having sleep paralysis. This is what people experience when they get rabies. Only two young adolescents have survived from rabies since the medical facilities followed protocol to induce a coma to decrease the hallucinations the brain creates from the rabies virus attacking the brain. Rabies has super high mortality rate, as there is no cure for the virus.
You'll be surprised by the power of your brain. If you can focus on isolating missions, you can astral travel anywhere. The lighten human figures hold prophecy powers. They can probably tell you things about future events. Concentrate on visiting these astral beings again.
I believe your sleep paralysis and cat event 100%. I never could figure out my past episodes. However, your experience and the following links are similar to my past experiences.

ReplyDeleteNormally, if I feel that I am not the only occupant in a place (like when staying in hotel room as I do quite a lot of on-job travel). I would first apologize to the unseen occupant for my intrusion and explain that I would be staying only for the duration of my stay and asked to be left to stay in peace. Then I would stand at the center of the room and bow to the four directions of the room apoligizing with each bow. The presence would still be there, but at least I did not get disturbed during my stay after I started doing this when I feel other presence when I enter a hotel room (I know this sounds very superstitious).
ReplyDeleteTalking about Insidious movie, it talked about doorway. I once had a very vivid dream that I can still remember concerning doorway, but I had it long before I watched the movie. It was a frightening dream. It was not a lucid dream. In the dream, my sister in USA came to my house through a connection between her bedroom door and the back bedroom door in my house. She came and talked to someone in the house and was about to leave, so I rushed through my side of door, past through a gap of black empty space maybe about a stride or two in length, then entered through my sister's side of the door to her house before her door closed. After she was done talking to me I left through her side of the door and closed the door behind me, then to realized that my side of the door had disappeared. Instead I am now looking at a place like a cave or tunnel. In fact I was already in the tunnel when I closed the door behind me. Suddenly a shadow jumped at me from my left. I pnicked and ran straight ahead. The tunnel bent right and I just ran along, then suddenly I was moving in slow motion. I was very afraid that time that the shadow thing might catch up to me, but it did not and I was still in slow motion. Then I heard galloping sound coming from behind, I turned my head and saw another human galloping past me like a horse. I don't know who that guy is. I kept moving forward in slow motion until I arrived in what looked like a market place, but the "people" in the market are like aliens in Star Wars movie bar. They have blue, green, red and many more colored skins and their faces had different shapes, each of them. They are talking in a language that I don't understand. Wierdly, I saw that galloping guy again in the market place and he was talking to one of the alien-look-alike, then galloping off again. I felt lost that time and was worrying on how to get back home. Then I heard a male voice keeps repeating the name of the Laughing Buddha, I don't know who's voice was that, but after a few seconds, I woke up. It was to my relief, just a dream. I was totally freaked when I felt lost over at that strange marketplace. That is one dream about doorway that took me to god knows where. Having experienced this kind of dream, I don't know if I would dare to enter any doorway if I so happen to bump into one in my OBE session.
ReplyDeleteYour hotel ritual is rather interesting. It is similar to what a psychic medium or clairvoyant do when talking to the dead. I believe that communicating with spirits can prevent negative dreams and possible possession.
ReplyDeleteThe door is a like a portal in The Adjustment Bureau. According to Kosarin (2005), a door represents "an opening or a new opportunity at hand" (p.208). Even so, you discount your experience as lucid dreaming:, therefore, dream symbols serve as a guide to your journey. The door holds power in your journey. Use doors as portals to induce an OBE.

The doors will have the ability to induce an obe because yiu can watch your physical body.

ReplyDeleteI do believe in possession and had heard a few cases from friends. I watched quite a lot of reality TV like Ghost Adventures, Paranormal State and etc and A Haunting from Discovery. From those TV shows, it seems like it is easier for people to get possessed if they are meddling with the dark arts. So I would say to keep away from the dark stuff and keep our soul as pure as we could would help us from possession. Another thing is Karma. If you are pure this life, but had done bad things in your previous life, demons might be able to use that past link to possess you.

Only heard about him yesterday through an email from Christie Marie Sheldon and another one from Burt Goldman so i decided to check it out and i'm glad, it explains very well everything i always wanted to know about astral projection, the best i've encountered so far.
Have any of you heard about him or his products?
According to his website www.stevegjones.com he is a clinical hypnotherapist and seems to be a leading figure in the field in the US.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment. Your are one of the small percentage of people who can induce the OBE. Condition your mind to astral travel with no fear. You control the world from within the conscious. Once you gain control of the subconscious, you can astral project while in the conscious state.
People who experience sleep paralysis (SP) are known to induce the OBE. There is fear at first with the inability to move your body and the hallucinations brought on by the premature awakening.
Record your astral projection experiences. I recently experienced a lucid dream which I repeated to myself this is only a dream. Identify triggers within your dreams to induce the OBE. Talk to yourself like you're narrating a story.
