The Woman in Black (2012) plot summary

The Woman in Black is a supernatural horror movie about a curse a woman in black places on children living in a small England town. Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) is a young lawyer hired to review important documents to authorize the sale of the deceased woman's estate.

The small town fears the woman in black spirit, knowing that meddling into her estate affairs will reactivate the dreaded curse. The woman in black lost her son in a carriage accident, which her remorse turned into hatred.

As a result, the woman commits suicide with a vendetta to harm the young children. In the afterlife, the woman in black cursed the children in the small town.

Arthur is faced with steep hurdles to resolve the woman in black curse. Thus, he races against time to reunite the woman in black with her deceased son in order to save the town and his own son.
