Astral Worlds in Movies

Which Hollywood movies depict the astral worlds? I never thought much about the astral worlds in movies until this past December, the moment in which a psychic introduced me to metaphysics.

The astral world is known as the astral plane. Astral worlds in movies are portrayed as dream and or afterlife experiences. These astral words portray both good and evil environments. Metaphysical movies paint the astral worlds as a dark plane with unsettled souls. Nonetheless, astral worlds are also constructed as an extension of Heaven.

The astral worlds convey a world beyond physical existence. In the astral worlds, an astral being may have to wait in limbo to be accepted in heaven or to be vanquished to hell. Astral worlds are viewed as the astral light which stores the Akashic Records - the Bible to the astral plane.

Astral worlds in movies such as Silent Hill, The Lovely Bones, The Matrix franchise, Insidious, and A Nightmare on Elm Street horror movies depict the metaphysical nature of the astral world. These astral worlds divide the fantasy and physical worlds to demonstrate the strength of religion and or a higher being.

The Silent Hill characters are stuck in an astral world with astral beings. Their astral form has already passed into an astral world full of lost souls. Astral demons trap the main characters in the astral plane. The astral world is assumed as the physical world because the small town resembles the operable town. Astral creatures move about the astral world to terrorize the main characters.

Astral beings disguised as humans burn a policewoman at the stake. The husband searches the small town in the physical world, whereas the wife and child make commotion that goes silent in the astral world. Silent Hill builds a dark fantasy, conveying the astral world as a prison filled with trapped spirits. Essentially, the main characters escape the astral world to say goodbye to a father and husband.

The astral worlds in The Lovely Bones represent the dimension between fantasy and reality. Susie remains in an astral world depicted as the corridor to heaven. Thus, she postpones her admission into heaven to help her family cope with the grief of her murder.

Susie moves about the astral world, experiencing the reproduction of the physical world. She can hear what others cannot. The astral world is populated with the murderer's past victims. There is a loneliness that fills the air. Susie realizes a murderer decided her fate in the physical world; therefore, she must adjust to the astral world to then make the transition into heaven. Her courage in the astral world saves her sister's life in the physical world.

Astral worlds in movies are employed as plot devices to explore the mental state of mind. The main character usually experience various challenges and obstacles in the astral world. They must find the courage within their soul to defeat fear as well as to accept their fate in another spiritual world. The astral worlds convey an extension of realism to deliver heavenly answers. Thanks for reading.
