Insidious was a sleeper hit in 2011. Two years later, Insidious Chapter II is due to be released later Summer. All the same players are involved in the sequel. It is expected to generate a lot of buzz leading up to the release date.

Lucid Dreaming/Astral Projection in the classical The Wizard of Oz movie

Judy Garland adored her fans with playing Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz movie. The classic Hollywood musical is one of the most popular movies of all time. We never get tired of watching Dorothy singing and skipping along the yellow brick road with the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Lion and her dog Toto. The Wizard of Oz is the one of earliest depictions of lucid dreaming in cinema.

The movie opens up with Dorothy performing her day-to-day chores along with her dog Toto. Her parents and her live on a farm in Kansas. An evil woman who owns a good portion of the town wants to take Toto away from Dorothy. Toto escapes the woman, reuniting with his beloved owner Dorothy. All of a sudden a tornado hits the region, causing Dorothy to hit her head in the process. In an astral sense, Dorothy's home is astral projected to land of Oz.

The subconscious mind will guide a person back to their physical body. Whereas, I never attempted advanced astral projection. I understand what steps are required to astral travel to distant astral worlds. I plan to experiment with astral projection techniques to gain experience with astral time travel.  

In essence, Insidious captured the mystery of astral projection. Many people don't believe that astral projection is possible. Nonetheless, astral projection is as real as your dreams. You will find the same answers as you do when experiencing a lucid dream.

Lucid dreams occur when a person realizes the reality of the dream within their dream. People question the reality of their dream in the same manner as conceived in the Inception movie.
