The Maria Rossi Exorcism: Uncovering the movie facts in The Devil Inside movie plot

The Devil Inside movie is the first exorcism movie released in 2012. ExorcismMovies.com features several quality articles on the exorcism movie. A recent Anneliese Michel exorcism article was uploaded on Exorcism Movies 10 minutes ago. The Devil Inside movie shows the Maria Rossi character experiencing multiple demonic possession. Thus, the Maria Rossi exorcism is performed to exorcise the evil demon entities. In result, many troubling events affect the exorcism occupants.

The Maria Rossi exorcism is a fictional event. However, The Devil Inside movie depicts actual events consistent to the exorcism of Anneliese Michel true story, which resulted in her death as well as the criminal prosecution of the Michel parents and the two priests - the accused received no jail time.

The Church authorized the exorcism, and then declined due to believing Michel suffered from a severe mental condition. Anneliese was urged to seek spiritual peace to improve her medical condition. Soon after Anneliese's condition worsened, the Bishop of Wurzburg authorized Paster Ernst and Father Renz to perform "The Great Exorcism" on Anneliese Michel to exorcise the multiple demons.

The parents and the two priests proceeded with the exorcism, even recording the exorcisms on tapes. In the exorcism murder trial, the exorcism tapes were played as evidence to inform the court that Anneliese experienced a demonic possession. Therefore, Anneliese's emotionally charged cries convinced the court to sentence the parents and the two priests, though the four accused never received any jail time.

The Anneliese Michel exorcism story ends on a sad chapter. The young Anneliese accepted her fate, claiming the Virgin Mary appeared to give her two choices (written in letter to the church by Anneliese). Anneliese agreed to remained possessed to communicate the evil of demons and the Devil to the world. The Church identified Lucifer as one of many demonic spirits who possessed Anneliese. In the end, Anneliese Michel bravely defeated the Devil and his demon army.

It is important to note the Church is extremely careful with authorizing exorcisms to avoid making medical mistakes associated with exorcising a person who is not possessed. The 1978 exorcism murder case demonstrated that there can be legal repercussions connected to the potential outcome in exorcisms.

Demon possession lacks scientific evidence, proving otherwise that legal cases describing possession and murders are ambiguous. Therefore, circumstantial evidence and mental evaluations are heavily relied upon to make legal decisions. The exorcism murder trial is depicted in The Exorcism of Emily Rose movie with an exorcism murder case, the handwritten letter, multiple demonic possession, exorcism audio tapes, and the moment of demon conception leading to seizures and misdiagnosed epilepsy.

In the Anneliese Michel exorcism murder case, the two priests and Anneliese's parents are convicted of negligent homicide. However, the convicted never receive jail time. Priest Ernst contacted the authorities soon after Anneliese passed away on July 1, 1976. Anneliese Michel underwent two exorcisms a week spanning 1975-1976. The exorcisms involved fasting, prayers, and many intense moments, which we will never fully understand the evil demons trapped from within the sweet girl. The final chapter in the Anneliese Michel real story is that she finds peace in the end.

Maria Rossi is the name of a young adolescent girl, who along with her friend, viciously murdered Edna Phillips, an elderly female neighbor. It is obvious the girl displayed a psychotic burst of terror to react as a psychopath. Could the real Maria Rossi have been possessed at the time of the murders? She was witnessed singing a Wizard of Oz song after the Edna Phillips murder the very next day.

The unexplained murder influenced local citizens in a UK town to react angrily toward the Rossi family. We anticipated the same reaction after the "not guilty verdict" in the Casey Anthony murder trial. We thought Casey's Imaginary Friends were multiple demons described in The Devil Inside movie as multiple demonic possession.

The real life Maria Rossi and the Anneliese Michel true exorcism story paired with a documentary filmmaking style helped The Devil Inside become the first sleeper hit of 2012. In the 2011 domestic movie box office, the Insidious movie made nearly $55 million on a $1.5 million dollar production budget.

The Devil Inside only cost Paramount Studios $1 million to acquire (BoxOffice.com, 2012). This exorcism movie will likely continue to underperform after the first weekend because of the bad word of word concerning the poor movie ending. Beware of the movie ending. You might find The Devil Inside movie ending rather disturbing - not in a good way. Be prepared to watch the exorcism movie with an open mind.
